4 days after Mangalore crash, AI plane plunged 5000 ft, hit another’s path

On May 26, a Boeing 737-800 of Air India Express hit an air pocket and dived over 5,000 feet while flying over Muscat. Both the pilots of the flight IX-212, which was headed for Pune, have been taken off duty.
